Day 1 - Arrive Auckland
Welcome to Auckland the largest city in New Zealand, also known as the city of sails. Upon arrival, you will be met and greeted by one of our representative at the airport arrival hall and transferred to your hotel in a private car or a shared vehicle.
Self-drive customers will pick up their rental car from airport centre and drive to hotel Visit Sky tower in the evening (Entrance cost included) later take a short walk to Viaduct Harbour.
Day 2 - Auckland - Waitomo - Rotorua
After breakfast, we will depart for Rotorua famous for its Geo Thermal activities via Waitomo Glowworm Caves. We will take you on a guided tour over 250 meters of amazing underground scenery through the stunning Cathedral. The major attraction of this tour is the boat ride through the amazing Glow Worm Grotto, you will be dazzled by the thousands of twinkling Glow worms and will be delighted by the informative live commentary by your highly experienced local guide about the history and the limestone formations and the history of the caves. New Zealand, Diva, Dame Kiri Te Kanawa, has sung here and was pleased with the purity of the sound. The tour starts at the upper entrance of the cave and proceeds along a low narrow passage to the Vault, a deep limestone shaft.
Day 3 – Rotorua
Breakfast at hotel.
After that we will leave for AGRODOME to see the Agrodome Agricultural Show, where you will be amused by New Zealand's performing sheep and other exciting attractions. Later proceed to visit TE-PUIA Thermal Wonderland, it has New Zealand’s most vibrant and colourful geothermal elements formed by thousands of years of volcanic activity. Wonder as you walk at your own pace along well-defined tracks, watch the Maori craftsmen and learn about the traditional arts of carving and weaving. After that, we will head to Rainbow Springs nature park, set amongst the beautiful forests of Rotorua, to explore the amazing wildlife, where you can get a closer view of NZ’s favourite native birds and lizards, including the kiwi and tuatara.
Relax in the spa during the afternoon or try some optional activities like Jet boat ride, Agroventures adventure park, Gondola ride, Volcanic Airplane etc (not included).
The evening is planned for a Maori Cultural Show & Traditional Haangi Dinner and concert. (B,D)
Rotorua NZ offers something special in the remarkable Feast & Revue Rotorua. Be ready to capture some memorable moments, during the traditional Maori cultural programme coupled with fantastic dinner, in a tropical environment.
Opening Hours: Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for the feast; Maori Revue concert begins at 7:45 p.m. (Hours and Place of Concert may vary as per the availability).
Day 4 - Rotorua – Napier
Today we will leave for Taupo from Rotorua through the densely forested road. Soak your eyes in the breath-taking view of snow covered mountains, sheerwater, raging rapids, lush green landscapes and thermal hot geysers are some of the natural wonders you will witness The Great Lake Taupo region is a natural bounty and has something for everyone to offer. Our journey will continue over rugged mountain ranges and well-cultivated farmland to reach on the East Coast and The Nautilus Napier was also known as classy, ‘Art Deco’ city. (B)
Day 5- Napier
The day is kept free for you to explore Napier. It is set amid the renowned wine-producing region of Hawke’s Bay, a charismatic coastal city on New Zealand's North Island. You can visit some of the excellent wineries less visited as compared to big names like Hastings and Havelock North. You can enjoy the popular architecture on a self-guided walk or Guided walks around the city are also available every day irrespective of the weather. Napier is also famous for its location in the southern Cape and symbolises the beginning of the Cape Agulhas region.
Day 6- Napier - Wellington
As we travel to the “end” of the Northland, we will make our journey through famous Hastings and Masterton. Get ready with your cameras to capture the stunning view of New Zealand’s lush green scenery and breath-taking spots before arriving in the ‘Capital City’ Wellington (B)
Day 7- Departure Day
Breakfast at hotel.
SIC customers will leave for the airport in a shared vehicle. Self-drive customers will drive their rental car, drop the car at airport depot and board your flight for onward journey with wonderful memories of New Zealand. (flight not included)! (B)
